Irated & Frustrated Girl. . . (Part One) I know I haven't blogged in a long time. My mind boggled over school and work. I am misrable these last few days. At work, my boss got me all irked up over certain things. Like, marking the margins of dollar bills with "I DON'T TRUST IN GOD" and not giving me the chance to voice my opinion. And riling me with my pay which was suppose to be yesterday but he didn't feel like shelling out my pay until Monday since I'll be on vacation tomorrow and Friday. Then there's my mother. Bugging me over everything I do. Then there's the stupidly unreliable public transit. Even though they claim that they have changed the schedule to accomodate more buses and the waiting time, it still is the most unreliable service I have ever experienced. For once, I like to sit on bus and go home instead of standing next to people on a crowded bus and killing my feet. Plus most of the drivers are horrible. Then there's my sister. She invited friends over for today without my parents' permission. They just really tried my patience, which is thin, with all their stupid shouting and yelling and stomping. I never agreed to her idea last night when she found out mother went to work today. And she's all pissed off because I ruined her party by telling mother, who called to see if my sister went to her violin lesson later in the afternoon, that she invited friends over. Please, what was I suppose to say? That you were sleeping when mother can probably make out the sound of friends over. And if she saw what went on downstairs, she'll freak out and probably surmise that you had friends over. Part One - The End Anita :: 3:27 PM
Yesterday was my sister's birthday. As usual we had a party for her. I got her CLAMP's Tsuabasa Reservior Chronicles Volume #4 last week. She wanted volume five since it was out also, so I had to stop by Borders on my way to work today to get it for her. And the next thing I know, my other sister is practically telling me to go get her CLAMP's XXXholic volume 5. I will get it for her sometime this week as well as the second issue of Shojo Beat. I was going to get it at Borders today but they didn't have it in stock so I'm going back to make sure that they do have it. Which reminds me that I should use the coupon that they gave out today to buy XXXholic. My sister is watching all 20 episodes of TVB's Scavengers' Paradise on her newly upgraded computer. She had until couple of months ago, Windows ME. But father managed to screw it up. Luckily, my cousin volunteered to upgrade her computer for free. Then my cousin asked her if she could lend her drawing skills to help him on this project he's doing. She did and he came by one day with an external hard drive full of MP3s and the 20 episodes of the show. She copied all of it to her hard drive and is now happily content with it. I did watch a couple of episodes of Scavengers' Paradise. I must say that TVB did a lukewarm job mocking the Taishanese dialect. . . I cannot wait to see Kung Fu Soccer with Dicky Cheung this Thursday. I can't stand watching ATV's horribly written show "My Date With A Vampire III" any more. Kung Fu Soccer is not the sequel to Stephen Chow's Shaolin Soccer. Whoever said that it is really must not have read Stephen Chow's interviews more carefully. And I cannot wait for the sequel to Kung Fu Hustle to hit theaters soon. I got my copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince already on the day it came out at Costco for $15.99. It was cheaper than the ones being sold at Target for $16.89 or soemthing like that. A day before it came out, I was busily reading posts at this certain forum that I go to and they post a death spoiler. At first I didn't want to believe it. When I got the book next day, the spoiler was true. I was sad that *insert name of HP chracter here* passed away and that I really hope that Harry kills both *insert name of HP character here* and *insert name of HP chracter here*. Working of my employer sucked today. He got ticked off at one point when I kept telling that I wasn't sure anbout something. That was when I got scared because that was one of the few times that I ever get unexpectantly scared. In my head I'm thinking, "He's completely nutty." and "I think I should wear a t-shirt that says 'Angry/mean people suck.'". Anyway, I got drained sorting papers into managable stacks that the heels of my feet starting aching badly because I didn't get to sit often today. My mother is planning to get me to learn to drive this summer. I was learning to drive two years ago but my father never finished teaching me nor did my parents hired me a driving instructor as promised. So my DMV minor's permit ended and now I need to start over from scratch. Meaning I have to fill out the application, take the eye exam, and then take the written test to get a premit. And then learn to drive. All for $12. It sucks completely because I now have to worry about failing and taking the test again. Which is why I'm studying the handbook and the tests that I took two years ago right now. Anita :: 9:36 PM
I've finished moving in to FortuneCity. If there are any grammatical errors, don't complain or whine. They are minor errors. The more important thing is to fix the technical errors like broken links, see? The last couple of months went by quickly. I had to deal with two family emergencies, a cranky mother, a technologically - challenged employer who is behind the times, schoolwork, and forum problems. Now that it's summertime, I'm taking care of my little sister and going to work. And mother is nagging me to get a better job. Mother needs to chill and calm down. Problem is I'm stuck with a technologically challgened employer who cannot seem to install Windows XP let alone know how to with DOS stuff as well as a flash drive. I've been watching Japanese dramas lately. Keiji Ichiro is actually a great show. I call it a suspense thrilling show because you don't know what to expect next. I've been reading manga lately. One Piece, Shojo Beat, Imadoki, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Hunter Hunter. Shojo Beat is awesome and I can't wait to read the next chapter of Absolute Boyfriend by Yuu Watase. As for anime, I'm watching One Piece on Toonami. I used to watch the new ones on Fox until Fox decided to screw around with the viewing schedule twice. I had enough with schdeule screw ups. Not until they announced that One Piece will now be showing on Toonami that I make it a habit to watch it on Toonami. Anyways, if you haven't notice, the new layout has the Backstreet Boys. I bought their CD that day it came out. It's a Dual Disc and it's very cool. There's pics and videos on the disc. Anita :: 8:16 AM
I am officially back with a new layout AND a new host. Angelfire was being a b**** with the ads thing. So I moved on to FortuneCity. FortuneCity is cool. Except that now I have to deal with uploading missing files and stuff like that. . . So bear with the mess until I settle down at FortuneCity. Anita :: 8:18 AM
I'm so tired. . . so I'll blog right now. I was rooting for the New England Patriots all the way yesterday when they were playing aginst the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Championship Game. I was completely happy when they won. People thought the Steelers were going to win because of what happen on Halloween. I'm not surprise that people were favoring the Patriots last week after they kicked Peyton Manning's a** when they were favoring the Colts in last week's game. Now that they are going to the Super Bowl, I'll root for them even more. My employer asked me if he can see today's newspaper. He saw it poking out of my backpack while I was busily working on filing papers. I didn't want to say yes and I didn't want to say no. I was ready to lie about it but I gave in and said yes. He immediately grab it and read it. The he gave it back to me. I got ticked off. I bought today's newspaper mostly because I wanted to go over yesterday's game and read the comics. In the time that I work for him, I had never shown a newspaper until now. I thought it was rude for him to ask me about it. I got my hands on February's issue of Shonen Jump. I wanted to read Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu Yu Hakusho. They also had a preview for a new manga called "Legendz". It looked pretty okay to me because it had a exciting story line and the drawings aren't that bad. Anita :: 9:15 PM
